Our Story
Debuting in the DMV in 2015, the Black Alumni Ball has become the premier destination for young professionals and creatives of color to network and re-connect for an evening of black-tie elegance and electric fun.
Not only is it important that we celebrate ourselves as a collective, it is essential that we offer individual accolades to those that are shining examples of what it means to be a Black Alumni. 2018 welcomed the Inaugural Black Alumni Ball Influencer Class.
The Black Alumni Ball Influencer program highlights young professionals and creatives for their specific social and/or professional impact to their perspective communities.
2018 was also a year of exponential growth for the Black Alumni Ball. For the first time since its inception in 2015, The Black Alumni Ball was not only held in the DMV, a second, sold out event was also held in the Queen City, Charlotte North Carolina.
